The Tutus, Ties & Tennis Shoes Virtual Walk/Run Challenge brings us together to raise awareness, encourage those currently facing breast cancer, celebrate survivors, recognize the strength of caregivers, and honor the loved ones we have lost.
We also walk with purpose. Through this event, we are committed to raising funds that can help support breast cancer patients in our local community.
Whether you walk in honor of someone you love, in celebration of your own journey, in support of a friend or family member, or simply because you believe no one should face breast cancer alone—your presence matters.

The 1st Annual Tutus, Ties & Tennis Shoes Breast Cancer Awareness Virtual Walk is a 25-mile virtual challenge taking place October 1–31 through the Nike Run Club app.
You have the entire month to complete your 25 miles—at your own pace, on your own schedule, and wherever you are.
Walk around your neighborhood, at the park, on a treadmill, at the gym, or wherever you feel comfortable. Complete your miles all at once or break them up throughout the month. There is no pressure to keep a certain pace—just keep moving and make every mile count!

Anywhere you are! This is a virtual 25-mile walk, so you can participate from your neighborhood, local park, gym, treadmill, or any safe location you choose.
Everyone is welcome! Women, men, children, survivors, caregivers, families, teams, businesses, churches, and community organizations are invited to participate.
The challenge is to complete 25 miles during the month of October. You can break the miles up however you choose and go at your own pace.
Participants will use the Nike Run Club app to track their miles.
Not at all! You have 31 days to complete your 25 miles. Walk a little at a time or complete longer walks—whatever works best for you.
